Construction: Each mask takes on its own unique personality during the construction process, and no two are exactly alike. I hand-craft each mask from the highest quality vegetable-tanned leathers. I typically use 6 to 8 ounce leather, which is roughly an eighth of an inch thick. All edges are beveled, burnished and sealed, so you won't see any rough edges. Where stitching is required, I use heavy black waxed cord. Some masks are riveted. In other words, these masks are sturdy, durable and way cool. Finishes: My masks are dyed, not painted, unless otherwise stated. The dyes used are permanent and will not run or bleed. Should you want to clean your mask, just wipe it gently with a damp cloth. Harsh chemicals or aggressive scrubbing may damage the leather or the finish. Some masks and blindfolds are covered or lined with velvet, where indicated. Sizing: I made over 100 masks for a Halloween-themed wedding and they fit most everyone, young and old. Most masks come fitted with a heavy elastic strap for wearing, which is easily shortened or lengthened for the perfect fit. Some come with elegant grosgrain ribbons instead, while others come with buckles and straps. For the wrestlers, I usually employ a 4- or 6-point bungie harness to keep the mask snug in the ring! Location: I live in Little Falls, New York (east of Utica and west of Albany), so give me a shout if you live nearby and want something special! Contact: Have a question? Just want to say hi?
